The Nutcracker and the Mouse King

When young Marie takes a broken Nutcracker into her care, she discovers that the quietest corner of the Christmas room hides an extraordinary secret. Toys can march to war. A seven-headed Mouse King can bargain in the dark.

Guided by the mysterious Drosselmeier's tale of Princess Pirlipat and the Hard Nut, Marie travels from candlelit rooms to sparkling rivers and a palace of sweets.

A full-colour adaptation of E. T. A. Hoffmann's classic, lovely for families at Christmas.
